Bookmark

After marriage, there are many demands at home front. So, i was away from books for a while. After these 5 months, when i went back to books....all my bookmarks just vanished. i couldnt find one.
so, i made my own.

Made this bottle for a colleague's house.
Forgot to take final picture of the bottle.
I painted white thread in green shades and yellow. I thought of making the flower boquet with many branches. But, when i have done till this stage, i thought its simply good. so i gave it as it is.

This is a bottle done on order by a colleague.
I have done it in a short time , so haven't quilled it.
I covered the bottle with thread, and attached flowers made from cloth. and covered the whole decor with muslin cloth. and made duplex flowers and pearl hears into it.

I started this project to make a patterned decoration. one bottle for pink and the other yellow. and a small green bottle in the middle. ( all colors in their own shades). But quilling pink shades took me long time than expected. I lost all my patience by that time. so at last ended with only one bottle. and flowers into it, i bought them in an exhibition.( to make it classy. as i cant make flowers to that level :( .....) . I kept it in my ofc at my desk. I recieve compliments every now and then for it. really worth the effort. :)

My first quilling experiment. I just quilled every flower i saw on internet, just to learn.
But, the used wine bottle turned really good.
I don't want to buy flowers into it. So, i made them myself with duplex paper. I just loved my creation that moment.

 

valentine hearts card

This is my first card other than my wedding card ( which i will post soon). For our first valentine's day, after our marriage, i want to gift my husband a card which i made. so i poured over internet. thanks to extreme cards and paper crafting . I want the card to be in shades of red. I modified the card with extra quilling. so here is my card which i gave to my husband at 30000ft ( we were flying to kashmir on the eve of feb14th). All the while, i was making it at home, i told him that i was making sumthing for my friend. so its a surprise for him :)
